Head Scarves, Made to Order

Square and long silk head scarves and hair scarves — smooth enough to slide, custom printed to your design.

Every silk head scarf is made to order from mulberry silk, digitally printed to your design and finished by hand. You control the fabric, size, colour and branding — not buying off-the-shelf stock.

B2B buyers need to decide whether a silk head scarf fits the project before sampling begins. Fashion brands often need a stronger story around fabric, artwork and finishing. Corporate buyers usually care more about logo placement, packaging, delivery date and stable repeat orders. Museum shops, hotels, beauty brands and promotional programs need a format that looks premium but still works inside a clear purchasing budget.

We quote each project by size, silk fabric, momme weight, printing method, edge finish, label, packaging and quantity. That makes the quotation easier to compare than a generic silk scarf price because the cost drivers are visible before sampling starts.

Best Fit

Head Scarves work best when the buyer wants a silk accessory that can carry visible artwork and brand value. If you are not sure whether this format is the right choice, compare it with our square scarves, neck scarves and gift box scarf programs, or send a reference image and we will suggest the closest production route.

Silk Head Scarves: Square and Long Formats

A silk head scarf is judged by how it behaves once it is on the head, not by how the artwork looks flat. The square format is folded on the diagonal and tied or tucked, so the design settles into a soft triangle; a long format is wrapped and knotted, so the print reads as a repeat around the head instead of a single composition. Neither is better — the fold decides which layout survives. A custom head scarf is specified by the fold it will be worn in, so take a physical sample and tie it the way the finished piece will actually be worn before the artwork is finalised.

Hair Scarves and How the Piece Is Worn

A hair scarf is usually the narrower end of the same family: a band folded down and wrapped around a bun, a ponytail or the hairline. That use compresses the print into a band roughly one third of its width, so a design built around a large centre motif can lose its focal point entirely. A repeating stripe, a border or a small all-over pattern holds up better. The fabric also has to be smooth enough to slide over hair without snagging, which is a hand decision rather than a print one — check it on the sample.

Matching Head Scarves to a Collection

Head scarves are rarely bought alone. They are usually part of a scarf range, a ready-to-wear look or a coordinated accessory set, which means the colour has to sit next to the garment it is styled with rather than in isolation. When a range runs across several colourways, keep one size, one fold method and one packing format across the whole run so the pieces read as a collection and the packing line does not reset between colours. Approve the colour against the garment, not against a monitor.
